End of 2007

I forgot to mention, Kelvin and Kenny came to our MT8 graduation! =D Them being from MT6 & MT7, they're no strangers to AW as well. But I felt kinda bad, cos I haven't seen buddy Kelvin since March and Kenny since June, and the first time I saw them that day, I was on the way to the washroom to dry my tears cos I broke my bloody board! YEAHHHH! *roars in joy* Anyways, sorryy and many hugs to buddy Kelvin for not being able to spend alot of time with you to catch up. I had to respect the fact that it was the MT8 post-graduation party so I had to sit there for dinner. =.= Even though Shella and I longed to go over to here you were for dinner instead. Bloody football fans. =.= No offense. And anyways, thanks for letting me come over and nice driving. =)

So then, NEXT! After training finished on 16th, Bro and I went to join our church's caroling team from the 17th - 20th. =D Teddy and Khoo Jun were overnighting so they joined us for the first night. Then, second night we didn't go. Bro, KJ and I went to watch Alvin & The Chipmunks instead. OMG THEODORE THEODORE THEODORE! And I'll say it again, THEODORE!!! =D He's so cute OMG OMG *starts hyperventilating* xD haha~ Then, Shaun came to overnight, KJ went back. We went for third and last night of caroling.

Then the next day! On the 21st, we had the first MT8 gathering at Sunway Pyramid. Lamb lamb wore green cos I said I'm in love with Theodore. xD Haha~ sweet of him. We went ice-skating. Mun Chun, lamb lamb and E Wei were all helping me out. Them being good skaters and me being lousy noob skater. =D So they basically took turns to hold my hands and they skate, I glide. =D I felt like Queen Elizabeth and they were my noble ermm.. server-people. =D Or whatever those people are called. xP Much thanks to you three! Mun Chun pushed Woan Ni and she fell on her butt. =( Poor sis.. So yaa.. That day we had like 26 of us there. =D It was cool~

22nd! Bro, Mom and I went to Low Yat and got our coolio new phones!! =D Yeah, dude. HAPPINESS. =) That's another one off the wishlist. =D But the bloody battery is weak so I have to go back to change it =.= .. Nevermind anyways~ =P

23rd was spent at home.. All day.. Just resting and relaxing after more than a week of activities and outings. Aah~ It felt good to just sit at home in front of the TV and eating. =) Oh yeah, and not to mention SMSing lamb lamb who started SMSing me since.. after training. xD It doesn't stop! O_O haha~ but not that I mind la~ I'm on postpaid anyways. And so is he~ LOL. =D

24th! =D Had turkey dinner with Ex-Bishop and family. Babies Gaby and Aby are cute as ever! =) Then, went to church for midnight mass. Did some caroling before service started, then Renise, Misha, Jamie, Lex, Aaron and I spent the rest of the night chit-chatting outside the church, under the canopy till service was over. xD Reached home at like, 2+ A.M .. Dilly-dally till 4 A.M then Mom couldn't take it anymore and shoo-ed me to sleep. =( Oh well.. I tried.. xP

25th! CHRISTMAS DAY! Merry Belated Christmas to you all btw. xD Went to Uncle Lawrence's house in SJ and had turkey -again- lunch with Daddy's side of the family. GramPapa and GramMama Leong were there too. =P I seem to be getting lesser and lesser presents as the year's go by. =( This saddens me. LOL~ Nevermind la~ Played with Muii Chloe for awhile then bla bla bla went home. Everybody happy-happy. =)

26th + 27th + 28th - Rest and relaxation after Christmas. =) Bro, Mom and I bathed all of me and Lex's big, old plush toys! =D We bathed Lex's big bunny which is a few months older than him, his big bear which is a few years younger than him, my big penguin which is 2-3 years younger than me, my big pyjamas bear that's as old as me, my little bunny, and my little doll. =) They're all more than 5 years old at least, some of them older than us. So yeah~ we practically grew up with these teddies. =) Now they're all clean, smell good, and are sitting on the sofa watching TV with us. =D So niice. =)

29th! We had the 2nd MT8 gathering at MidValley. Lamb lamb came late with Shu Hsien and again, he put on his formal cos of me. Nice of him~ =) haha.. He got upset that I don't have a lamb lamb teddy so he insists that he wants to get me one. xD Oh well, we'll see la~ =P The guy next to our lane in bowling was very fussy and cranky. What a grandma la~ =.= He kept coming over to us and telling us what to do, bla bla don't stand there, bla bla. =.= Mind your own business la ah tuk~ Not like if we stand there the world will collapse la right? Seriously~ =.= That think-he-knows-it-all jackass. =.= Aiih~ some people.. Anyways, it was fun la~ =P

30th - Went to church. Instead of going to service, we skipped and walked over to the McDonalds near the Masjid Jamek LRT station which is kinda nearby our church, like a 10-15 minutes walk. =D It was Lex, Jamie, Renise, Misha, Joash and me. The rest didn't wanna come. Oh well~ =X ..

31st - NEW YEAR'S EVE! =D Woke up at 5.30 A.M to go KLIA to fetch my maa'z friend whose gonna be staying with us for a while.. =) Had breakfast there, came back, collapsed onto the sofa with all the big teddies and slept till noon. xD So niiice~ Went for dinner at KLCC Spring Gardens. =P It was gooood~ I didn't bother to countdown.. Didn't even know when it was midnight already. I was watching The Notebook. =) It's seriously a very damn touching movie.. When it came to the end, I was crying and Lex almost cried but he held it in. =) He's a big softie after all~ haha.. xP

Aah~ It's been Oh-So-Long since I've updated.
My fingers are in for a real good workout. =)

Okayy~ so.. my year-end holidays this year flew by unexpectedly fast compared to all the previous year-end holidays. I guess it's because of the much increased amount of activities I had this holiday. =D Oh, what a happy child I am~! xD

So umm.. I'll be dividing them all into several posts. =D Starting with the first highlight of the holidayss since me last update. =)

" MT8 / TT07 "

Yup.. xD As some of you might know, I attented AsiaWorks Teen Training for my second time from the 13th - 16th December 2007. =) It was nice and all just like last year. Great trainer, met some great people, got to see some great old friends. But I have to say, as nice as it might have been, I prefer last year's training so much more compared to this. No offense to anybody, I'm just some weirdo expressing my weird opinion. =)

The reasons I didn't quite enjoy this year's training as much as last year's was because they changed the concept this year =::=

Their reason?
It's because they opened the training to the public.

What does that have to do with a concept change?
For all the past Teen Trainings, only teens with relatives that have done at least the Adults Basic / Teen Training can participate in it. But this year, since they're opening it to the public, this means that not all the participants have a relative that's done the training before. Therefore, those without the relatives might not be able to accept the things that we cover in the old concept. Thus, they changed the concept the make it lighter and easier for everyone to accept and handle.

This year, there was also no more Buddy-System. So no, my wish didn't come true. =( But still, there were some cute and nice guys though. =) But all that aside, the new concept just didn't have as much impact on me as it did last year. And it was not as emotional and memorable as the last one. This year's group of participants also weren't as awesome as our bunch last year. Not all of them lah, my intention isn't to insult you people, just some of them. There was also the lack of a strong bond between the participants. Not to mention they didn't give the participants the stuff they gave us last year. A.K.A : the carabiner, the seagull brooch, the photo in the AW frame of either you with your buddy or by yourself, the AW T-shirt. So yeah, if you were me, you would understand where I'm coming from la~ But anyways, my bro told me not to compare too much. Cos after all, it is a different thing.
