1st August 09 -Went with
the Brother to
Mummy's event at
All Saints Church.
The previous night,
Mummy told us to go wait at the taxi stop at 10.40 to wait for her friend cause he was giving us a ride there.
Mummy had to leave early in the morning.
So, I woke up at 10, woke the Brother at 10.30 and we left and got there by 10.40!
BUT!There we were, munching on our
cupcakes, waiting patiently.
After 15 minutes, we started to get restless.
Tried to call
Mummy a few times but she didn't pick up.
So, there we were, waiting in the
extremely hot Malaysian weather, for
ONE WHOLE HOUR!UNTIL!FINALLY, at 11.40 A.M, there came
Mummy's friend.
So, whatever lah, at least we were early.
Better early than late!Plus, they're an elderly couple, so it's better we wait for them than make them wait, right? =)
So, we went on our way to All Saints.
Once we got there, I told
Mummy we waited for an hour and she blamed me of hearing her wrongly!
OMG!And I told her she told me the wrong thing cause she was busy and sleepy and distracted with work last night!
But anyways, what happened, happened. =S
So, we had lunch at 12.30 P.M!
It was
Indian catering.
The food was actually quite nice =D
And the
fried chicken especially! WHOO YUMMY! =O
At the end of lunch,
Uncle Lawrence and
Aunty Poh Chun came too!
He's my Daddy's brother and she's Daddy's sister-in-law~ =)
Then, the event went on.
SHOCKER for me and
the Brother!
They gave us cheques to repay us for our volunteer work for their event last November.
GAAASPARAGUS!Didn't expect that!
And
Mummy got a cheque too!
Along with an
exceptionally beautiful, big bouquet of flowers!It went to good use too! =D
Me and
the Brother had
TONS OF FUN camwhoring with it! =P

After we arrived,
Mummy asked why we didn't dress formally.
She did not inform us earlier.
But anyways, it would've been ruined if we did cause we were waiting in the hot and humid weather for an hour earlier on.
So, it was kinda like a blessing in disguise, I guess.
Though, we did kinda regret not looking better.
The pics would've turned out
soo much better that wayy! @_@
Oh well, we can always go there again! =D
